Docklands awards to hear proposals

THREE companies will this week fight it out for first prize at the Docklands Innovation Park Enterprise Awards 2008 where the overall winner will receive €10,000 and runners up will get €1,500 each.

Andrew Deegan from computer game manufacturer Breakout Gaming Concepts, Niall Harbison from iFoods.tv and David Carpenter from Q-Validus, a new training and certification programme, will each have 15 minutes to present their business plans to the panel of judges before being grilled on their proposals.

This year’s judging panel will be looking for the best new investment proposal and comprises Owen Murphy from ACT Venture Capital; Cyril Maguire, from Trintech; author and former American venture capitalist, Diane Mulcahy and Ivan MacDonald from Rococo Software.
