Market recovers some lost ground

THE Irish market continued to regain ground lost last week.

The ISEQ index gained 30.24 to 7,158.93 on the back of solid performances from the financials.

AIB took the lead in the banking sector adding 50c to €15.30, while Bank of Ireland tacked on 4.3c to €10.37. Irish Life and Permanent continued the trend up 10c to €14.30. Anglo-Irish bank, however, shipped 20c to €10.
