BoI pension talks continue

TALKS on the Bank of Ireland’s new hybrid pension scheme intensified this week as management and trade unions attempted to forge final agreement after months of discussions under the auspices of Tom Pomphrett of the Labour Relations Commission.

Following a Labour Court recommendation earlier this year, Mr Pomphrett commenced what at the time was described as an “intense process of engagement” between the parties.
