€350m earmarked for software

OVER €350m will be invested in software this year by Irish companies and the public sector, a survey revealed yesterday.

According to the companies and public sector organisations surveyed, at least €90m will be invested specifically in security software, with some €182m being deployed in infrastructural software.

The research was undertaken by iReach on behalf of SAS.
