AIB announces new chief risk officer

AIB Group has announced that Nick Treble, managing director, AIB Global Treasury, has been appointed AIB Group chief risk officer (CRO) and a member of the AIB group executive committee (GEC).

He will take up his new post at the end of the year on the retirement of current AIB CRO and GEC member Shom Bhattacharya.

Mr Treble, aged 48, joined AIB in 1982 as a trainee dealer in Allied Irish Investment Bank, London.
