Fujitsu opens Derry IT services centre

THE official opening took place yesterday of Fujitsu’s £18 million (€26.5m) IT services centre of excellence in Derry’s Timber Quay.

The facility will see the creation of 328 jobs, with 50 already filled.

Fujitsu Services’ managing director for Government Business, Eithne Wallis said: “We are delighted to open this new facility in Derry which will bring our overall employee base in Northern Ireland to over 800.”
