IFA launches anti-litter drive

THE Irish Farmers Association launched a drive yesterday to encourage the country’s driving public to take their car litter home and dispose of it safely.

IFA Countryside has teamed up with Cuisine de France to produce and distribute posters to more than 5,000 convenience stores, forecourts and shops around the country.

IFA countryside chairman David Wilkinson is encouraging shop owners and managers to support this initiative by putting up the posters.
