Christian station to start in January

THE Broadcasting Commission of Ireland yesterday announced the signing of a 10-year contract with United Christian Broadcasters (Ireland) Limited for the provision of a satellite radio service.

UCB will be a dedicated Christian radio service and programmes will have an interdenominational focus.

The primary target audience will be 25-55 year olds.
