Gala expansion to create 25 jobs

UP TO 25 jobs will be created in Co Clare over the next 12 months with the opening of four Gala stores in a €1.5 million investment, Clonlara Wholesale Distributors announced yesterday.

The stores in Drumquin, Miltown Malbay, Newmarket-on-Fergus and Doonbeg represent a major expansion of Gala’s operations in Clare, which has five other stores around the county.

The first of the stores will be officially opened at Drumquin, near Ennis this Saturday.
