Farmers alerted to plastic collection

ALL farmers in Co Cork have been urged to avail of the chance to clear the backlog of waste silage plastic off their farms under a collection scheme commencing on Tuesday.

North Cork County IFA chairman John Coughlan said details of the collection dates and venues are being published by Cork County Council this weekend.

There are 18 locations around the county where farmers can take their waste silage plastic for collection, free of charge.
