Timoney Technology of Co Meath has signed a contract worth an estimated €1 million with global truck manufacturer Terex.

Timoney and Terex have jointly designed the full independent suspension axle for use in the Terex TA25, TA27 and TA30 articulated dump trucks.

Shane O’Neill, chief executive of Timoney, said: “This agreement represents the culmination of several years of dedicated work by Terex and Timoney to produce a world-class vehicle that is unrivalled in the industry.

“The Timoney Independent Suspension System will generate productivity benefits and improved operator comfort for the users of Terex articulated trucks from the moment the truck moves.”
