The Irish Association of Investment Managers (IAIM) has urged Irish investors to further diversify their portfolios by investing in different assets rather than focusing solely on property.

Gary Connolly, chairman of the products & markets committee at the IAIM, said: “Retail investors are not diversifying appropriately, with an inordinate proportion of wealth tied to residential property."
