Macra na Feirme election results

THE results of the Leinster and Munster Macra na Feirme vice-presidential elections will be announced at the Irish Farm Centre in Dublin on Tuesday.

Three candidates are seeking the Leinster vice-president position — Denis Drennan, Tommy Dolan and Ronan Feighery.

Two candidates are contesting the Munster vice-presidential election: Flor O’Gorman and James O’Donoghue.

Thomas Quirke has already been deemed elected as northwest vice-president.

The three new vice-presidents will take up their positions alongside president-elect, Catherine Buckley at the AGM on May 12.
