ICSA announce new vice presidents

THE Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association yesterday announced the unopposed election of two new vice presidents, Paddy Kent, New Ross, Co Wexford, and Edmund Phelan, Caher, Fenor, Co Waterford.

Mr Kent replaces Joe Kilmartin, Balrath, Navan, who remains Meath county chairman, while Mr Phelan succeeds Michael Brady, Tralee. John Barron, Ballintra, Co Donegal, remains the Ulster-Connacht vice president.

General secretary Eddie Punch said the ICSA has just joined social partnership, and there will be plenty of work for the three vice presidents.
