ABC accents direct Examiner sales

THE Irish Examiner continues to sell more of its circulation directly to readers than any other Irish national daily newspaper.

The latest Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) figures calculates the average daily sale of the Irish Examiner at 56,441 over the six months from July to December 2006.

Just 2.5% of the Irish Examiner’s daily sale comprise bulk sales, less than other daily titles. Bulk sales are copies bought at discount by third parties, such as hotels, which are usually given away free.
