Spend on IT set to increase this year

SPEND on computer hardware is expected to surge during 2007, according to the latest TeleTech survey of IT and telecoms decision makers conducted by the research and market intelligence company, iReach.

According to the survey, around €1.4 billion is expected to be spent in Ireland within the next 12 months. Laptops will lead most of this growth with many organisations replacing desktops with laptops and some natural replacement cycles.
