Gartmore increases Conroy stake

THE international asset management firm, Gartmore has increased its total stake in Irish exploration firm, Conroy Diamonds and Gold to 13.42%.

According to a stock exchange statement yesterday, Gartmore increased its notifiable interest in Conroy following a purchase of 1.875 million shares.

Gartmore Fund Managers now holds an 8.82% stake in Conroy while Gartmore Irish Growth Fund owns 4.6% of the company.
