Martin to announce 1,000 new jobs

FOLLOWING a bumper year for job creation here, 2007 is set to see more strong job growth, particularly in multinational companies.

About 1,000 new jobs are expected to be announced early in the new year, with Enterprise, Trade and Employment Minister Micheál Martin saying that there would be “positive news in the next two months”.

The new announcements are set to include investments outside of Dublin.
