ESB appoints first female director

THE ESB has appointed its first female executive director.

Bríd Horan, who joined the company in 1997 from KPMG, has become executive director for customer supply and group services.

ESB also appointed Aidan O’Regan as deputy chief executive. Mr O’Regan’s appointment is to fill the vacancy created by Tony Donnelly, who retired in September.
