ComReg chair resigns

THE chairwoman of the ComReg has decided not to seek renewal of her contract as ComReg commissioner.

Communications Minister Noel Dempsey yesterday expressed his thanks to Isolde Goggin for her commitment during her period as commissioner and as chairperson.

Mr Dempsey also confirmed that he has appointed Mike Byrne to the chair of the commission for a period of one year.
