ACCBank chief Darling to quit

AFTER 11 years, seven as chief executive, Colm Darling yesterday announced his intention to leave ACCBank plc.

Mr Darling repositioned ACCBank in the market allowing for its privatisation through the sale to Rabobank in 2002. Over the past five years he has grown its profitability.

Adrian Hegarty will assume the chief executive role an interim basis.
