De Rossa urges labour law debate

LABOUR MEP Proinsias De Rossa has called for a debate on adapting labour laws in all member states, to fit the modern work world; provide fair working conditions; and prevent the threat of a race to the bottom.

He said: “Several European countries have adopted policies and changed their labour laws which, far from creating better jobs, are leading to a two-tier jobs market.
