Gleneagle Group expands into Sligo

THE family-run Gleneagle Hotel Group is to expand its empire beyond Kerry by taking over the newly-built Silver Swan Hotel.

The Killarney hoteliers, who have a variety of hotels in Kerry, have taken over the management of the €30 million seven-storey hotel, which opens later this month.

Patrick O’Donoghue, managing director of the Gleneagle Group, said: “We look forward to joining the hotel and tourism sector in Sligo and helping it to thrive in the months and years ahead.”
