SHARES in Dublin ended in negative territory yesterday.

The ISEQ Index closed 7.19 points lower at 8,494.47.

Financial stocks put in a mixed performance with AIB falling 45c to €20.68 while Bank of Ireland gained 15c to €15.60. Irish Life & Permanent gave up 20c to €18.95 with Anglo-Irish adding 2c to €13.92.
