C&C and IAWS lead market advance

THE ISEQ index closed higher led by gains in C&C and IAWS. It finished up 66.95 points to 8,527.82.

C&C and IAWS lead market advance

AIB added 8c to €21.55. Bank of Ireland was 25c better off at €15.85. Anglo Irish and Irish Life and Permanent were 8c and 19c stronger at €13.86 and €19.64.

Construction giant CRH fell back 10c to €26.80. Grafton Group was also in negative territory at €11.05. Kingspan gained 8c to €16.53.
