Waterford looks to expand in Indonesia

THE proposed investment by Waterford Wedgwood to double capacity at its Royal Doulton ceramics manufacturing facility in Indonesia follows the closure of its Tuscan facility in Stoke-on-Trent in Britain.

The Indonesian production expansion was discussed by Waterford Wedgwood chairman Tony O’Reilly when he met with Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in Jakarta in the past few days.
