€300m dairy processing investment

THE arrangements for the €300 million investment package for the dairy processing sector were outlined yesterday.

Agriculture Minister Mary Coughlan said the fund, which will include €100m of Government grant aid, is designed to stimulate investment and ensure the sector’s long term viability.

She said applications for the fund should be submitted to Enterprise Ireland by October 26.
