Judges talking SHOP at cheese expo

THE International Cheese Awards, Ireland’s most prestigious cheese competition, will be a feature at SHOP 2006, which takes place in Dublin’s RDS Simmonscourt in October.

Almost 200 cheeses will be bored, cut or sliced by the judges to decide on the award winners across 19 competition classes. Special awards will be presented to the supreme champion and the Irish farmhouse cheese makers of the year.

SHOP is Ireland’s new retail, food and drink event. SHOP emerged following the fusion of two existing trade shows, the IFEX show and the Forecourt show.
