Oakhill revenues up 7% but operating profit down 57%

DUBLIN-based printing services group Oakhill has reported that its revenues for the first half of this year are up by 7% on the same period last year, at €16.8 million.

However, the company which has its headquarters in Sandymount in the south of the city, said in a trading statement ahead of its AGM yesterday that operating profit for the first-half came in at €264,000 — 57% down on the same period in 2005.

The decline in operating profit is based on price pressures which have adversely impacted the company’s margins.
