BIOFUEL technology developed in Ireland is to be supplied to two industrial areas in China in a €20 million joint venture.

Greyhound Recycling and Recovery will supply alternative fuel and power sources to Shuzhou, a major industrialised zone, west of Shanghai (where 300 of the Fortune 500 companies are present) and to Guangzhou, the most powerful industrial province in China. Greyhound will supply the Chinese market with the technology to develop both bio-diesel and refuse-derived fuel (RDF).
