Markets drop across Europe

THE ISEQ Index mirrored European bourses to close in negative territory. The Dublin Stock Exchange dipped 3.03 points and closed on the day at 7604.37.

The main financials lost ground closing 71.12 points lower. AIB dropped 10c to €18.40. Bank of Ireland fell 1c to €14.15. Irish Life and Permanent and Anglo Irish were down to €17.50 and €12.95.

In construction, CRH jumped 51c to €26.40. Kingspan Group was also a winner ending at €11.70. Grafton Group dipped to €9.60. Ryanair traded over 5.82 million shares and lost 12c to €7.60. IAWS Group climbed 25c to €13.35.
