Elan gets positive credit rating

International credit ratings agency Moody's Investor Service has revised its rating's outlook on debt issued by troubled Irish pharmaceutical group Elan.

Moody's said its outlook had changed from "stable" to "positive". Approximately $1.5 billion worth of Elan's securities are affected by the change.
