Resurgent Ireland on Sunday still set for losses

TABLOID newspaper Ireland on Sunday is set to post a loss this year despite doubling circulation.

A trading statement from Ireland on Sunday's parent company, Daily Mail & General Trust (DMGT), says that the paper will make a loss this year as costs associated with its revamp continue.

According to the latest figures, Ireland on Sunday's average weekly circulation has risen to over 160,000 and has eaten into the sales of the Sunday Independent and Sunday World.
