INDEPENDENT News & Media (INM) has further reduced its overall debt by selling its remaining 5.7% interest in Indian media group Jagran Prakashan (JPL) for €32 million.

Independent News & Media today announced that it will purchase 20% of an Indonesian media group, and publisher of 'Republika', one of Indonesia's highest circulating national daily newspapers, PT Abdi Bangsa TBK ,for €4.8m.

TABLOID newspaper Ireland on Sunday is set to post a loss this year despite doubling circulation.
