IL&P raises €1.5bn in securitisation

Irish Life & Permanent has raised over €1.5 billion in a securitisation of the mortgage book of British subsidiary, Capital Home Loans (CHL).

The proceeds of the issue - the group’s largest ever securitisation - will be used to fund future lending at CHL.

CHL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Irish Life, specialises in providing mortgage finance for the buy-to-let market in Britain.
