Employers fear breaking the law

THE Northside Partnership has warned that employers are not hiring people with disabilities or diverse backgrounds because they are afraid of breaching employment legislation unwittingly.

The body responsible for promoting enterprise, employment, community development and education in parts of Dublin city’s northside has organised a breakfast briefing for northside companies on November 8 in the Hilton Dublin Airport Hotel, Malahide Road.

It will get underway at 7.30am and guest speakers include Brody Sweeney, founder of O’Brien’s Sandwich Bars.
