Drop in turnover at Golden Discs

TURNOVER at music retailer Golden Discs fell by 3% to €37.5m over the year to the end of March, due to what the company has referred to as a “difficult trading environment”.

Profits were €706,881, which represented a “satisfactory outcome”.

Golden Discs operates 27 stores around the country and recently opened a new outlet in Limerick. Another branch is due to open in the spring in Maynooth.
