IT in schools lagging, says IBEC

IRELAND is lagging behind the vast majority of other countries in the availability and use of IT in schools, according to business and employers organisation IBEC.

It is calling on Government to make the provision of IT in schools a national priority.

It is also concerned there appears to be no clear Government strategy on the issue.
