Bank of Ireland opens Paris office

BANK OF IRELAND Corporate Banking has opened its first office on mainland Europe in Paris.

The bank said it has been active in the French market for a number of years, mainly focused on leveraged finance transactions. Last year it was involved in 16 deals with loan commitments worth €350 million.

It said the opening of the Paris base will see the bank extend its products to offering to mid-market senior and mezzanine debt arranging capability.
