SuperValu sales increase by 8%

SUPERVALU has announced an 8% increase in sales in the Republic to €1.67 billion for the year to December 31 2003.

The group also announced investments in the current year of €225m that will crate nearly 1,000 jobs.

Last year, the combined SuperValu-Centra operations achieved turnover of €2.5m.
