HOUSEBUILDER McInerney Holdings says 2004 profits will be ahead with strong increases at its Irish and British operations.

McInerney foresees profits increase

The company told shareholders at yesterday’s annual general meeting that it had seen a high level of deposits on hand for houses in Ireland and Britain in the first few months of this year.

Last year McInerney, which targets first-time buyers, built 969 houses, but said it will comfortably exceed 1,000 houses this year.
