Dixons Ireland avoids re-branding

DIXONS electrical goods stores are to be re-branded in Britain under the Currys digital name. The merging of Dixons and Currys will result in an enlarged 550-shop chain.

Dixons Ireland avoids re-branding

DSG International, which owns both chains as well as PC World, said the rebranding would not extend to Dixons stores here - of which there are eight spanning Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Drogheda. It also operates Currys stores in Dublin, Limerick and Galway and employs more than 600 people in Ireland.
