Shannon Minerals on awards shortlist

A LIMERICK-BASED mineral water and soft drinks firm is in line for the DHL Export Award 2003.

Shannon Minerals, which specialises in the contract manufacture of own- label drinks for retailers, will now go forward for the overall prize.

Established in the 1960s, the family-owned business started making traditional soft drinks such as red and white lemonade, but a few years ago it moved into the mineral water market and now sells to major retailers.
