French stocks up

FRENCH stocks including Suez SA gained. Deutsche Bank AG upgraded the shares of Europe’s fourth-largest utility, while steelmaker Arcelor SA dropped.

The benchmark CAC 40 Index added 0.81, or less than 0.1%, to 4935.40 in Paris, after falling as much as 0.6%.

Sixteen stocks gained, 22 fell and two were unchanged.
