Green Isle and Amazon to create more than 150 jobs

MORE than 150 jobs are to be created in Dublin and Kildare, it was announced yesterday.

Consumers foods group Green Isle Foods is planning to expand its workforce in Naas, Co Kildare, by 130 by adding a new bakery at their existing plant in the town.

The €22.6 million development, backed by Enterprise Ireland, will begin later this year. The company, which is owned by the British firm Northern Foods, already employs 630 people at the plant.
