Galvin leaves Superquinn post

DOMINIC GALVIN has resigned from his post as managing director of Superquinn only eight months after joining the grocery retailer.

According to new owners, Select Retail Holdings, Mr Galvin left for personal reasons.

Mr Galvin - formerly with toymaker Lego and sportswear chain Foot Locker - was one of the first appointments made by the new Superquinn owners after it bought the company last August.
