Eastman Kodak photo labs to close
The company will close facilities in Barcelona and Valencia, Spain, with 141 jobs, and one outside Oslo with 75 jobs, Rochester, New York-based Kodak said in a US regulatory filing. Kodak will cut 97 jobs at a Renens, Switzerland, lab as the facility stops most film development.
The European cuts are part of Kodak’s three-year plan, announced in January, to cut 12,000 to 15,000 jobs worldwide as demand for traditional film declines, the company said in the filing.
