Datalex raise €1m in sale of shares

Datalex founder and director Neil Wilson has raised €1 million from the sale of shares in the travel industry software company.

Mr Wilson sold shares representing 2.5% of the company on Tuesday, bringing his stake down to 8.1%.

The company also announced yesterday that it had been contracted to supply the new travel agency technology platform for JTB, Japan’s leading travel agency group. The contract is the first of its kind to be awarded by JTB to a foreign technology company.

“I am proud that the Datalex name and technology is, once again, associated with leading travel organisations around the globe,” said Damian Hickey, Datalex senior vice president in charge of business development.
