GERMANY’S economy expanded at the slowest pace in more than a year in the third quarter as exports declined, underlining the nation’s reliance on demand from abroad as the euro trades close to a record.

Gross domestic product, the value of all goods and services, grew 0.1% from the previous three months, when it expanded a revised 0.4%, said the Federal Statistics Office in Wiesbaden.
