Hotels power supply deal with Energia

ENERGIA the energy supply business owned by Northern power generator Viridian, has signed a new nationwide power supply agreement with the Irish Hotels Federation (IHF).

The agreement is worth up to €35m per year and aims to provide substantial savings for the 950 hotels and guest houses that are IHF members. One hundred businesses have already signed up.

IHF secretary treasurer Donal O’Meara said: “We are very pleased with the arrangements for our members with Energia. Remaining competitive is vital to the success of Irish tourism and this deal contributes significantly to that agenda.”
